About this recipe: This white loaf is made using normal white flour (not bread flour) so it's good if you run out of bread flour ..or just want to keep the cost down but you still want a tasty light loaf. I used the cheapest value range flour. My kids can't get enough of it and always ask for seconds ....good for packed lunches or toast. This will make a 1 1/2 lb loaf. I used a med crust colour and cooked it on the basic program ....
Altered ingredient amounts. Left out milk powder which gave it a lovely crusty texture. - 24 Jun 2011
