Simple Baked Chicken Legs

    Very easy and tasty! Only works with chicken with bones in it. Doesn't go well for breast meat.

    Serves: 2 

    • 7 garlic cloves
    • 2 chicken legs (with skin on)
    • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
    • dried Italian herbs

    1. Preheat oven to 200 C / 180 C Fan / Gas 6.
    2. Peel and slice 2 cloves of garlic thickly. Make 3 small incisions on the chicken legs. Insert sliced garlic into incisions. Place chicken legs on baking tray.
    3. Sprinkle salt onto both sides of the chicken legs and rub, making sure it's covered in salt. Sprinkle black pepper and mixed herbs onto both sides.
    4. Spread the remaining garlic cloves (with skin on) onto the baking tray around the chicken. Bake for 30 minutes.

    Serving suggestion

    Serve with duxelle or simple pasta like in the photo.
