If you like it spicy, just add a chilli into the sauce.
My go to simple salmon recipe. I don't use the big King prawns (because mostly they are warm water farmed and have little flavour), I use a couple of good handfuls of frozen cold water prawns, and use Waitrose frozen basil. (though the King prawns would look more impressive) We always have cream, lemon, garlic and pasta in the house so the only ingredient I need to buy is the salmon. (I might try throwing in some smoked salmon next time just to add a little something). PS the big single bulbed garlic that comes in the little baskets in Lidl are a little sweeter and milder, so I use half of the bulb. We'll be having it tonight, Christmas Eve with a green salad so we are ready to fill up tomorrow, Christmas Day. - 24 Dec 2014
