You don't need ice when using frozen berries for this smoothie. Use any frozen berries you like along with soy milk, orange juice and wheatgerm, to make this a quick liquid breakfast.

Berry Punch used at all my family occasions along with many other punches but this one is my personal favourite. If you like it sweeter you can add sugar or maple syrup, but the sherbet adds the sweetness kick for me, there is never a drop left in our house!

The old German classic Christmas and winter warmer. Boozy, spicy and indulgent. Similar to the British mulled wine. Great at a Christmas dinner party or for Bonfire Night as a winter warmer.

This drinking chocolate tastes so luxurious and is made from the simplest of ingredients. Use a best quality dark chocolate bar for this, preferably organic, with at least 70% cocoa solids.

Bisschopswijn, meaning 'bishop's wine', is the Dutch version of the German gluehwein, a hot drink for snowy holidays that makes you glow inside. Don't drink this if you have to drive tonight! Each household has its own variety, this is the one my Dutch neighbors used to make when I was a kid in Amsterdam, for Christmas and New Year's Eve.

This summery cocktail is a refreshing concoction which will help you relax at the end of a hard day's work! You will need a tall glass and a cocktail shaker/mixer.

This exotic recipe for still 'lemonade' actually uses limes. Don't make this ahead of time - it is best served immediately.

Cantaloupe and raspberries are blended with yoghurt. This is perfect for when cantaloupe is in season. Try it with any other berry in place of the raspberries!

Made using the peel of the pineapple. Tasty drink using what would otherwise be thrown.

This is a cheat's chai tea - rather than making the tea and spice blend yourself, use your favourite brand of tea and then embellish it a little.

This is an easy way to spice up a shop bought drinking chocolate mix. Add more or less of each ingredient, depending on taste. Serve with whipped cream and enjoy.

On a hot summer day, nothing hits the spot quite like this refreshing citrus and mint drink. The tea flavour helps to balance the sweetness. Add less sugar if you prefer and adjust to your liking.

What an invigorating drink this is, made with fresh citrus, very lightly sweetened and flavoured with a little lime zest and mint. Squeezing your own juice makes all the difference in both nutrition and flavour, as vitamin C begins to dissipate as soon as a fruit or vegetable is cut. This mixed citrus drink makes a lively breakfast or brunch drink.

I try to drink green tea on a daily basis. I came up with this recipe to make it more interesting. You can use freshly squeezed orange juice instead of grapefruit juice.
