This is a basic fruit muffin recipe. I use chopped apples, but any type of fruit may be added to make a quick and easy batch of fruit muffins.

Chocolate can be part of a healthy diet, as these delicious muffins prove. They use the best-quality chocolate to give more flavour with less fat.

They are so delicious - you wouldn't believe that something with prunes could be this good! They're also low in fat, with just about 5 grams per muffin. A great morning or afternoon snack!

The dough for these cinnamon buns is easy to prepare in a bread machine. Note: These are wonderful fresh, but they don't freeze well.

A delicious source of fibre! My family have them almost every morning. Great healthy muffins! You may substitute chopped dates for the sultanas if you wish.

The dough for these cinnamon buns is made in a bread machine before it is shaped into buns and baked in the oven. If you don't have a bread machine, follow the notes at the bottom of this recipe.

Wholemeal muffins - honey-sweetened and packed with flavour - still manage to be low-fat and good for you. Semi skimmed milk, egg whites and just a little oil make these the healthy choice.

I've used this delicious recipe for about 29 years. They are very good . . . much better than any shop-bought muffins I've ever had.

Bran muffins, lightly sweetened with apples and dark brown sugar. Be careful with the milk, sometimes it can be too moist, but you'll just have to bake it for a longer period of time.

This is an excellent recipe where no butter, oil or any type of fat is added - it's virtually fat free. It is not to dry and not too moist. They also taste excellent! The icing is optional but if you want them to be a little sweet - spread icing on top!!

Make these the night before as the dough rises in the fridge overnight. Bake the next morning for breakfast or brunch. Easy and delicious. Enjoy!

Flaky shop-bought puff pastry is filled with chocolate-hazelnut spread and raspberry jam in this delectable treat. I concocted this on a whim one afternoon, and after one bite, I knew it was one for the books! Simple and delicious.

Similar to scones, these are great for teaching children how to cook and have fun in the kitchen. They look like little rocks but certainly shouldn't taste like them. This makes quite a big batch so you might want to halve the recipe or freeze some of them!
