This is a basic truffle recipe to which you can add your own flavourings or extracts. Dust with cocoa powder or icing sugar, or roll in coconut or ground nuts.

I adored black forest gateaux in the 70s and loved trifle so decided I would fuse the two. You can make it all from scratch but also easy to substitute ready made goods if you don't have the inclination. The ingredients are split to enable you to decide at each 'layer'.

This is a very easy recipe, requiring no sugar thermometer and no sensitive tempering of the chocolate. Make several to give as a homemade food gift or to include in a Christmas hamper.

This is a really simple brownie recipe. it has been tried and tested many a time and they certainly dont last very long in the cupboard. I always use chocolate chunks when i bake them however walnuts are just as good, it is just a family preference. these morish gooey chocolate treats are an all year all occasion must bake.

Insanely easy, but so gorgeously rich! Recipe makes a large amount but you can vary flavourings and coatings to make several different varieties. All the better to give as gifts!

Easy yet so delicious, this fresh fruit trifle combines my favourite trifle recipes to create a mouthwatering dessert. Use any fruits you wish - such as mangos or raspberries - to create your own culinary delight.

Mamgu meaning grandma in welsh the recipe if im at all truthful doesnt belong to my my mamgu but a family friends nan bara brith meaning speckled bread. i love this cake spread with butter and a good cup of tea. Tips, if the cake browns quickly in your oven cover the tin with grease proof paper and return to the oven. although this cake is translated as bread it is more of a cake so dont be scared if you find you'ved sliced a cake not a piece of bread.
