I love eating this so much, I submitted my own recipe. It makes a lovely gift, too.

Crepes made with milk and beer. If the crepes are thicker than you'd like, thin the batter with additional milk, whisking it in gently.

This is one of my favourite desserts to make for company in the spring. It’s easy with store-bought sponge cake and it looks like it took hours to prepare with the candied fruit/ricotta filling and green tinted marzipan covering. Some variations use gelato instead of ricotta, but I prefer it best with ricotta.

This is my version of a delectable pud I had in Milan. You could chill this before serving, but I like it warm. The rum at the end is optional, but makes for a nice presentation at a dinner party.

This is a really simple brownie recipe. it has been tried and tested many a time and they certainly dont last very long in the cupboard. I always use chocolate chunks when i bake them however walnuts are just as good, it is just a family preference. these morish gooey chocolate treats are an all year all occasion must bake.

Nothing beats fresh pasta, and this recipe is so easy. You can use this to make any shape of pasta you like, from tagliatelle to ravioli to lasagne.

Classical puff pastry has close to a thousand separate layers of butter and dough. Blitz puff pastry doesn't puff as high, but it sure is easier to make at home!

Coffee flavoured coffee cake. I have yet to meet someone who doesn't ask me for the recipe when they taste this.

This is a lovely conclusion to an elegant dinner! I garnish slices with cream, a strawberry fan and a sprig of mint.

Nothing beats this rich, tangy tart for flavour. It is a popular dessert in restaurants, but you can make it yourself for far less at home.

Named for a queen in India, these coconut cupcakes with curry lemon curd and a sweet basil cream topping will wow your friends and family. They have sweet but exotic flavours and a stunning presentation. The cupcakes take time to create, but the final product is worth it! The lemon curd and basil cream need time to chill, so they can be made the night before.

Soft herring roes, which you may also find described as herring milts, can make a dish that is both nutritious and economical. Here they are combined with fried onions, diced courgette, fresh tomato and grainy mustard, then served on thick slices of Granary bread to make a delicious lunch dish.
