This dish melts in your mouth. The credit goes to my future mother-in-law. Not only does it taste gorgeous, but halibut is a sustainably sourced fish. Each halibut fillet should be approximately an inch thick. Substitute crème fraîche for the double cream for a lighter dish.

Asian inspired flavours with a French technique give this dish it's own uniqueness. It's easy to make as well!

This is my version of a classic French recipe that I have adapted for quick and easy preparation. You may wish to adjust the quantity of tarragon to taste.

An impressive summertime dinner party starter. Use very ripe tomatoes, good quality olive oil and Parmesan for best flavour.

Sinfully rich and velvety smooth, this elegant recipe becomes a favourite as soon as it is tasted. It is best if made a day before serving.

Classic crème brûlée, though time consuming, is easy to make and sure to impress! If you prefer to eat it cold, you can chill the crème brûlée after grilling it. The top will remain crunchy.

Duck legs become beautifully succulent when slow-cooked with wine and vegetables, and are very lean without the skin. Boiling the cooking liquid to reduce it results in a sauce with a wonderful flavour, which is great soaked up by the crisp, piquant bread croutes that accompany the dish.

This is a really simple brownie recipe. it has been tried and tested many a time and they certainly dont last very long in the cupboard. I always use chocolate chunks when i bake them however walnuts are just as good, it is just a family preference. these morish gooey chocolate treats are an all year all occasion must bake.

Succulent chicken thighs roasted with figs and lemon slices makes for a satisfying and impressive Mediterranean-inspired meal. The slightly sweet and sour sauce is perfect to serve with rice, and helps to caramelise the figs and lemon. Easy, delicious and if you feel the sauce isn't enough it can easily be doubled.

This is a quick and easy seared halibut dish, with a buttery wine and caper sauce. It takes hardly any time at all to make, but it is sure to leave a lasting impression on last minute guests.

Enjoy this light and lemony cheesecake with a deliciously fresh blueberry compote. It's excellent as a summer dessert, especially if you can find wild berries.

This stunning lobster dish is surprisingly simple to make. Lobster shells are stuffed with cooked lobster in a creamy white wine sauce, then topped with Parmesan cheese and grilled until golden.

I kind of just threw this thing together one day, but it turned out great. I don't like alcohol, but the rum (I used a cherry rum) made it all that more amazing. Sorry there's no picture, but you'll have to take my word on it when I say that it tastes great. If anyone makes this and adds a picture, that would be even better.

These warm, soft and gooey mini chocolate cakes are perfect for that ubiquitous chocolate fix. A good-quality plain chocolate is necessary for the success of these cakes.
