This is my "anything goes" recipe, which means you can use whatever you have handy in the cupboard or fridge!

This is a quick and simple recipe - great for using up bolognese leftovers and they freeze and reheat really well! Allow one sheet of pastry for 4 mini-pasties.

Take your leftover roast turkey and turn it into this delicious warming pie. Using Christmas dinner leftovers, this recipe couldn't be easier!

Perfect on a chilly autumn evening...it's been in my family for years. The cinnamon may be a surprise ingredient, but it adds a good rich flavour.

A beautiful homemade supper that will never go out of fashion. A home-cooked, rustic treat.

Two firm favourites – baked beans and traditional cottage pie – are combined here to provide a hearty and nutritious dish for all the family. Try serving with green beans or carrots.

This classic favourite makes a comforting meal, especially on a cold day. Lean minced beef is a healthy filling that takes minutes to cook, and the topping is quickly browned under the grill. Serve with peas or seasonal greens. Delicious!

When I tell people about 'herbie pie' they're like WHAT! It does sound funny, but it tastes delicious and is cheap to make too! I think a lot of people will be curious about this dish with it's strange name! I have made it for friends and family and they really liked it, in fact my friend even asked me for the recipe!

Guaranteed to warm you up. It's so hearty, you won't even realise its mostly vegetables.

This is a hassle free way of making steak pie, hassle-free because no pie is 'actually' made! This is a cheap and tasty recipe, very comforting on a cold night! It also doesn't contain onions, so I make this a lot when my mum comes for dinner, because she doesn't like them!

Fish pie is usually popular with children, who may not otherwise be keen on fish. In this version, leek and watercress are added to boost the vitamin value, and sliced potato and cheese make an appealing topping. Try it with roasted tomatoes on the vine, cooked for about 15 minutes alongside the pie or steamed broccoli.

This is something fairly healthy that my older children love, it's also a great way of getting rid of any leftover vegatables you have.
