Everyone loves kebabs and these make a great family meal served with pitta bread and salad. Cook them on a barbecue in the summer.

I'm a very, VERY basic eater and I don't do veg (except for the mighty potato) and spices are usually out of the window too. Bonanza Pie is just a nice way to jumble what I like into one dish. Those who have tried it have all reported back positively.

For this elegant dish, fillets of lemon sole are spread with a nutty herb filling, then rolled up in thin slices of Parma ham and baked with butter and white wine. Creamy mashed potatoes mixed with rocket and steamed asparagus spears are ideal accompaniments.

This is a great casual dinner party dish garnished with freshly grated Pecorino cheese and chopped parsley. Arrabbiata literally means "angry" in Italian, a nod to the spicy kick in this dish.
