This is a recipe that was handed down to me from my great aunt. My husband asks me to make this for all special occasions.

This is a traditional Polish Easter bread. It can be served for breakfast or with afternoon tea. It makes three loaves, but they disappear quickly!

I adored black forest gateaux in the 70s and loved trifle so decided I would fuse the two. You can make it all from scratch but also easy to substitute ready made goods if you don't have the inclination. The ingredients are split to enable you to decide at each 'layer'.

This Easter cake can be made with your favourite cake recipe, or even with a mix if you're short on time. The nice thing is that you don't need a special bunny-shaped tin for this cake recipe.

A nice carrot and walnut cake with a slight taste of spice due to some spices like cardamom. It's not too sweet and the count of calories is moderate.

These scrumptious biscuits are unique with the addition of cream cheese. Roll out the dough and use your favourite biscuit cutters to make festive treats at Christmas or Easter, or for any occasion!

A late friend from london gave me this recipe 30 years ago (her name was Diz-hence the name) , and whoever tries this recipe makes the Plum Bread for life. So Simple - So Tasty-Better than any bought & lasts for weeks. Being as it keeps so well I make 2 at a time - can freeze. I spread with butter (perhaps slice of cheese) , but fine on own. Also can warm a slice for min. in microwave for quick pudding.
