This is pure heaven - well I think so anyway! It's sweet, melts in your mouth but is not chewy. This version is flavoured with chocolate and it makes a great gift. I always make some for my daughter's teachers at Christmas.

This has always been a favourite in our family since I was little. My mum gave me the recipe last year, when I cooked it for the first time. Now it's not just for Christmas anymore! It's fab warm, but also good cold. This can be made in advance and chilled in the fridge

These are a great for a children's Halloween party! Chocolate cake mix is an easy option when you are making so many. Use liquorice laces for the legs and mini jelly beans or Smarties for the eyes.

It is a recipe given to me some years ago by a friend when we were chatting about using up left over turkey. I usually serve it with pickled red cabbage (shop bought), and crispbreads.

This treat can serve as edible playdough. Children can mould and shape while eating it. It's a great after school snack. Store extra portions in plastic bags in refrigerator or freezer.

Recipe given to us from my sons form teacher. Very easy to make no cooking involved. The kids make this every weekend. I used an oblong dish not very deep like a sandwich plateand lined it with baking parchment. I was tempted to use butter but this does not need it, thought it may be too rich.

I always have roasted garlic on hand - it is great on its own with some crusty bread, and also delicious in everyday recipes like soups, stews, houmous and tzatziki.
