Traditional Australian recipe, handed down from my mother. Her recipe has coconut and ginger in it which makes these especially good. Originally, these delicious bikkies were lovingly baked and sent in care packages to our soldiers at war.

Naturally sweet and moist, these make a great addition to a packed lunch. They are also a good way of getting the family to try some more unusual grains and seeds, and add new healthy ingredients to the diet.

This is an interesting twist on the classic that my daughter made at school. It has now become a firm favourite in our house.

These flapjacks have fibre from the oats and protein from the peanut butter - but your kids will just call them delicious! A great snack for kids when you want to give them something sweet that's still nutritious.

One of my favourite comfort foods, these flapjacks are also great to snack on at work or home. Quick and easy to make, add sultanas or chocolate chips at own preference!

Deliciously sticky, yet eminently sensible, flapjacks are perfect snack food. They're portable, they keep well, and the oats are a good source of fibre, which slows the release of sugar into the body.

A super easy recipe for a very healthy grab-and-go breakfast! Basically you can play around with it quite a lot and it seems fairly forgiving!

This is a super easy flapjack recipe using ingredients that are usually on hand. Try using walnuts as a variation.

Flapjacks are universally popular, and the light and fruity version here will appeal to the whole family. It’s quick to mix, and not long in the oven. Serve the flapjacks with fresh fruit or yogurt for a speedy breakfast, in place of porridge, or enjoy them as a coffee-break or afterschool energy booster.

These are delicious and simple to make rice crispy cakes. quick and simple to make these are an ideal snack in general or for parties. Ideal for school bake/cake sales. you can also corn flakes. Warm the tablespoon over a flame or dip in boiling water so the golden syrup slips off easily, repeat between each spoonful.

I sometimes add veg and some precooked chicken or sausage for a main meal, but it can be a side dish also. It goes nicely with BBQ/Grilled food, espcially fish, and with a little sour cream on top.
