You can modify this recipe to include any veggies you choose. It's a great way to use up leftover rice.

This is a traditional Chinese sweet rice recipe that is usually served for the Chinese New Year. This recipe was handed down to me from my dad who liked to eat this alone as a main dish, so it's a little heartier than most other sweet rice recipes. For those of you who know what Chinese sweet rice is, this is the most delicious recipe yet!

Little rice and sesame pancakes make an unusual topping for a crunchy salad of walnuts, marinated red cabbage and Chinese salad leaves – all brought together with a refreshing orange dressing. Delicious!

Here rolled up plaice fillets, flavoured with oyster sauce, ginger and spring onions, are set on a bed of the sea vegetable samphire and then steamed. They're served with a mixture of long-grain and wild rice.

Quick and easy. Cooked rice is fried with egg, onion, green beans and soy sauce. A perfect way to use up leftover rice.
