Being that I'm from America I just had to add these fluffy pancakes. Also, since I can't find a maple syrup that I like, I took an old Apple Pop-Tart filling recipe and came up with this. Great for breakfast or even dessert!

This is a treat for breakfast that the entire family will enjoy. If you want it a touch healthier, simply omit the sugar and butter.

Apple purée and cinnamon add a sweet and moist variation to the classic batter of milk, eggs and sugar. An unusual but delicious idea for kid's brunch or Christmas morning, especially if you substitute brioche for the bread.

These are a cross between pancakes and Welsh cakes. Wonderful for a special breakfast with the family at the weekend. Serve with jam, apple sauce or honey. Best of all, they're quick to make and low in fat!

Here's a cosy start to a winter's day. This spicy cinnamon porridge, with its cargo of rich apricots, is sweetened with golden syrup. Best of all, it takes only minutes to prepare.

I think French toast and bananas are a perfect pair. For a real American-style brunch, garnish with fresh strawberries, a sprinkle of icing sugar and drizzle of maple syrup.

Really easy to make and can be still be made successfully without self raising flour as once tried it when I grabbed wrong jar of flour and realised too late although not as light and fluffy as orginal. May need to double recipe for hungry people.

I tried this dairy-free smoothie recipe this morning and we decided it was delicious. A nurse prescribed a teaspoonful of ginger for my husband and myself each day, which is supposed to be beneficial for cholesterol.

According to psychologists, we sense food with our eyes as well as our palates, and the colour and texture of dishes impart strong messages. The vibrant colour and luxuriously smooth texture of this vitamin-packed blend of beetroot, raspberries and cranberry juice make it irresistible.

Berries are the utterly fresh flavour of summer. Tart, sweet and juicy, they come in a wide array of types, ranging from bright and delicate raspberries to fleshy strawberries, plump little blueberries and rich blackberries. The passion fruit is not a distinctive flavour in this dish, but instead it adds a fragrant tart edge.

Do not ignore this recipe just because it is simple, it is a great breakfast/snack for any tomato lover. Make sure you use Napolina Tomatoes, I have tried this with other brands and they just do not come close.

For a satisfying Sunday brunch, you can't beat homemade sausage burgers. By making them with turkey breast and some secret ingredients, the fat content falls to less than a gram a piece!
