This is a beautiful dish that's always a hit! This is a layered antipasti plate, so you can cut it in square slices neatly and find all the ingredients in every bite. Add veggies to your liking. Serve with fresh ciabatta or crusty bread. Enjoy!

I made this recipe up for my boyfriend who adores apples and pork. It's very easy and good served with roasted or baked potatoes and salad.

Made from thinly sliced pork fillet, fresh ginger, spring onions and Chinese noodles. It is quick and easy to prepare, and makes a great first course for a dinner party.

Surf and turf refers to any combination of seafood and meat. Using a square closeable fish basket for your barbecue, place fish fillets between layers of bacon and onions - you won't believe something so simple is this gorgeous!

Mushrooms and bacon make a lovely pair. It can't get simpler than this recipe. Use cocktail sticks to hold the bacon in place while cooking. I usually have to make a double batch of this party favourite to satisfy our guests.

Asian ingredients give these barbecued chops loads of flavour. They can also be put in the oven and grilled.

Here's a quick and simple recipe for delicious pork loin medallions or chops. All you do is baste the meat with a sauce of butter, lemon juice and garlic. Very basic, yet you won't believe how moist and flavourful the chops will be.

This always comes out tender and juicy even if you overcook it a little. The breadcrumb crust holds in all the juices. Works well for chicken breasts, too.

This tempting salad combines smoky ham, red onion, sweetcorn, canned black-eyed beans and lots of fresh coriander in a spicy soured cream dressing. For generous, meaty chunks of ham, buy pieces from the deli counter rather than thin pre-packed slices. Serve with tomato wedges and crusty fresh bread.

Pueblo Indian tradition calls for the addition of corn or potatoes to this dish. Serve with a big green salad and a pile of warm tortillas. It also makes a wonderful filling for enchiladas.

This recipe is based on a traditional Caribbean favourite. It's made with black-eyed beans or red kidney beans, which are called peas in Jamaica – hence the name of the dish. Red pepper has been added for extra vegetable content and a small amount of lean, smoked bacon lifts the flavour.

This tangy, thick, winter soup with its delicate celery-like flavour and chunks of sausage takes no time to prepare. Serve with cornbread for a substantial meal. Delicious!

This is a simple recipe for Chinese barbecue pork buns. A wok equipped with a stainless steel steam plate (a plate with holes to allow steam to pass) is required to make these. You will also need to follow the recipe on this site for Hom Bao (Chinese steamed buns).

Pork has an undeserved reputation for being fatty. Modern breeding and butchery techniques mean that many cuts are now extremely lean.

Use a speciality sliced ham to give this straightforward and comforting bake of waxy potatoes and Gruyère cheese the best flavour. Layer the prepared ingredients, then sit back and relax while it cooks. Serve with a green salad. Delicious!
