This is the original Lebanese recipe which is found in the Middle East in places like Lebanon and in Lebanese restaurants. It tastes delicious and is healthy because you don't use the chicken skin. If you make it, I'd like to know what you think

The secret ingredient in this pasta sauce is bicarbonate of soda - but do not taste the sauce right after adding it. Wait a while, and this sauce will not disappoint. Stir in Parmesan and keep simmering. Let the flavours meld overnight, then serve over your favourite pasta.

Easiest recipe I've ever made! I received it when my eldest son was a baby -- today he is 17 and it is still a hit! Just a few minutes of preparation, and all day cooking. Dinner will be hot and ready whenever you have a chance to eat. Meat falls from the bone, and sauce can be used as a gravy for rice or chips. Enjoy!

Nothing smells better than freshly baked bread - and this bread tastes as good as it smells! It's also effortless thanks to the bread machine.

Easy yet so delicious, this fresh fruit trifle combines my favourite trifle recipes to create a mouthwatering dessert. Use any fruits you wish - such as mangos or raspberries - to create your own culinary delight.

This is one my mum used to make when we were kids. It was always the biggest hit every year. Use your imagination and a variety of sweets to make doors, windows, pathways and a garden. Note, this gingerbread house takes 2 to 3 days to complete.

These are great for snack or a pack lunch or added to ice-cream. These take 15 minutes to make and 2 or 3 hours to bake, plus cooling. Keep checking the oven as the slices will vary in size when cutting them, so some of the crisps will be ready after 2 hours, some might need more time.

For us DIY-ers, this is an easy way to make creamy, smooth yoghurt at home! It tastes GREAT, and it works! It is yummier and cheaper than shop-bought. When you read it, you might think it is too involved... but really, you just let it sit in the warm water, checking the temp every now and then. It actually does its own work - kind of like letting bread rise. I use the time to get other things done around the house. Don't be scared off - it's really pretty easy.

These make a lovely change for a summer barbecue party and can be marinated in advance. Serve with lemon wedges and steamed basmati rice.

I have made up this great slow cooker recipe that can be made in bulk to make portions to freeze. We use as a one-pot meal to put into tacos; in wraps; on pizza; on toast. Its so versatile, so easy, so cheap, so healthy ! You can easily vary what is added.

This is my daughter Molly's favourite chicken dish which I make in a slow cooker. It's very easy to prepare and it tastes great with rice and green veg.

Double the amount of peanut butter if you are a big fan! Kids can easily help make it, since this is a bread machine recipe.

This long-simmered, one-pot meal is wonderfully satisfying. It can be prepared ahead, so it's perfect for family dinners as well as informal entertaining. Serve with a crunchy mixed salad and seeded bread.

A traditional homemade stew with tasty ingredients. You can add whatever veg you like but because I don't like onions or most veg, I like very simple.

A really, truly gorgeous dried fruit salad that I serve in the evenings to share with my mum and sisters over a good movie. Of course you don't have to use organic food or rainforest honey... but sometimes these little touches help I think. Add the pine nuts however much or little you like them, about 2 tablespoons is good for me.
