This is a beautiful dish that's always a hit! This is a layered antipasti plate, so you can cut it in square slices neatly and find all the ingredients in every bite. Add veggies to your liking. Serve with fresh ciabatta or crusty bread. Enjoy!

This is a great dish for using up autumn apples. Bramley, Golden Delicious or Cox's Pippin apples work well.

I bought a similar spread at the supermarket awhile back, and I thought that I could do it better and cheaper myself. I use tinned artichoke hearts, though you can buy fresh artichokes and cook them yourself.

This is a rich, substantial vegetarian meal when served with pitta or crusty bread and salad. It gets better with time, if there are any leftovers!

This recipe is one of many I have developed to utilise the bounty of aubergines my garden has produced this year. The kids will even love aubergines made this way!

Tomatoes, red onion and cucumbers are dressed with olive oil and finished with crumbled feta cheese. It's essential to serve this with good crusty bread.

Adding chicken to this family favourite transforms it into a satisfying meal. Keep it healthy by serving with a green salad.

Sweet, crisp, juicy apples and tart blue cheese are a combination made in heaven and are absolutely delicious in this simple, zesty starter.

Blue Cheese dressing has many uses. It can be served with vegetable sticks or as a dip for other starters, like chicken wings. And it's gorgeous on a crisp green salad with garlic croutons, cherry tomatoes and chicken breast fillets.

Kasha, or buckwheat, is one the fastest grains to cook. It's a non-wheat grain that has a nutty texture and mildly aromatic flavour which goes very well with vegetables and a creamy cheese sauce.

Also called ‘kasha’, whole buckwheat grains give a pleasing chewy texture to this hearty vegetarian pilaf. Buckwheat is higher in protein than most grains, as well as providing B vitamins, minerals and fibre.

Lacy, thin pancakes rolled around a tasty filling make a delightful main course. The beauty of this dish is that the pancakes, filling and tomato sauce topping can all be made in advance, then assembled and baked later.

An excellent hearty and warming family meal. Can be mildly mouthwatering or hot as you dare. It can also be varied ever so slightly by trying different flavoured corn chips/tortilla chips. Try zingy lime or fragrant chilli varieties to suit your own tastes. I have seen chilli lasagna recipes before but always using pasta sheets which doesn't feel very Mexican to me. Serve with a crisp cooling salad dressed with mint, cucumber, yoghurt or soured cream.

I work in a coffee shop and my favourite coffee drink is a caramel macchiato - so I created a caramel macchiato cheesecake!

These pittas are delicious on their own, but make a perfect accompainment to a warming pot of soup. Try serving with Garden Vegetable Broth with Parma Ham (recipe on this webiste).
