I think its very easy, well most of it sure is anyway! The only bit that i really struggled on was the mixing of the ingredients, mixing it into breadcrumbs with your fingers bit i actually found that it was easier with the dough whisks. plus it deduces your mixing time by about 5-8 minutes. from then it gets pretty easy with the rolling and cuttting and everything...!

Follow this recipe carefully and you will be rewarded with comforting, fluffy and tasty Chinese steamed buns. "Hom Bao" refers to any filled Chinese buns, but if you want to fill these with traditional barbecue pork filling before steaming, follow the recipe for Char Siu Bao, also on this site.

There's absolutely no added fat in this Chinese-inspired appetiser. Chicken is poached in a ginger-flavoured stock, shredded and tossed with a soy-vinegar dressing and vegetables, then rolled in lettuce leaves.

This is a very common cold dish eaten all over China and it's very easy to prepare. Depends on your personal taste, you can choose to add more or omit the dried red chillies.

Stir-fries do not have to be complicated, with numerous ingredients, as this simple recipe shows. Here strips of pork fillet are briefly marinated, then stir-fried with green vegetables. Nutritious egg noodles make the perfect accompaniment, turning this delicious combination into a complete meal.

Toasted rice and peanuts add crunch to these whiting fillets, ‘cooked’ in a powerful rice vinegar marinade. Try making this dish part of a Far Eastern banquet by adding bowls of Ratatouille Chinese-style, Green Vegetable Salad with Garlic and Ginger and Rice Vermicelli with Mustard and Chillies (all found on this website).

These are really healthy and not fried. Lovely change for a summer party served with one or both of the dipping sauces. Well worth the effort - these are fantastic.
