Packed with flavour and texture, this stuffing is also low in fat and high in fibre and carbohydrate.

This is a bit of an embellishment on the usual neeps and tatties. Omit the parsnips and substitute more swede if you'd like.

The simplest, most elegant side dish ever! This is the best way to impress guests without any extra effort. Substitute 1 teaspoon dried rosemary if you do not have fresh rosemary. Bon appetit!

These roasties are lovely and crispy, perfect for all roast dinners. The tumeric gives a nice colour, but it isn't important for the taste.

Slightly sweet butternut squash topped with a savoury herbed cheese and breadcrumb topping. It's been a signature dish for the last 12 years. It takes a bit of work, but it is so, so worth it. Your guests will ask you for the recipe, so be prepared.

Any winter squash or combination of winter squash can be used. A nice substitute for mashed potatoes.

A new twist on a butternut squash dish! The vegetables can be made 4 hours ahead, just reheat, stir in the pecans, and serve.

Not just for Christmas! This is a great recipe that I was shown how to make, it uses the "All trimmings" from a Christmas dinner to make a great roulade, either serve it into portions for a main course on its own or cut it into smaller portions to have at the side with your turkey! It is basically layered bacon, suasage meat and stuffing rolled into a log and baked for 40 mins really simple. the flavours of the bacon and sausage infuse with the stuffing, really yummy!

This is my version. The trick is to make sure the beef dripping is piping hot.

Sweet, tart and crunchy, this unusual and colourful coleslaw is enlivened by a combination of cabbage, cranberries and orange slices.

In Denmark it is traditional to serve a cooked pickled red cabbage for the Christmas Eve dinner. This is my mum's, and it is so easy to make and will be a great side dish to any roast duck, turkey or goose. When reheating, I like to add a tablespoon of black currant jam to enhance the flavour.

This is really a pretty presentation. I have had many compliments, and it's very easy. Simply hollow out a pumpkin and fill it with your favourite stuffing.

The distinctiveness of this turkey stuffing comes from the orange liqueur, spicy Italian sausage, apples and pecans. It's also very easy to prepare. This stuffing recipe makes enough to stuff one 9 to 10kg bird. If you prefer, this stuffing can be made with thyme instead of sage.

Simply delicious, easy to make French bread rolls - perfect for a dinner party or family lunch. Dough can be made in mixer, bread maker or by hand. Brush before baking with a glaze of 1 beaten egg white mixed with 1 tablespoon water if desired. You can also top with poppy seeds or sesame seeds.

When my mum became a coeliac the one thing she missed was stuffing! For 2 years we have been trying to find some, first bought it in Sainsbury's and that was good until they stopped the product so we have been experimenting ever since and now we have cracked it! The flavour and texture were an almost perfect match to Paxo's.
