This is my favourite Caribbean dish which is very well seasoned (a trademark of Caribbean food) and have always enjoyed it as a child. The sauce should not be as thick as a curry and not too watery if that makes any sense. There are many varieties of this dish and is always best served with rice and peas and West Indian pepper sauce.

Black Sheep Ale reminds me of walking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks last year. They serve 'Black Sheep Pie' along the route and I thought… I can do that. Well maybe anyway. You can do it with any other ale too I suppose, and I used to do something similar with Guinness, but found that it’s got a slightly more bitter aftertaste to it than the Black Sheep.

This was my mother's signature recipe. Simple, but classic - you can't go wrong. Slice it lengthwise, very thinly. Leftovers are delicious cold for sandwiches with wholegrain mustard.

This is a really simple brownie recipe. it has been tried and tested many a time and they certainly dont last very long in the cupboard. I always use chocolate chunks when i bake them however walnuts are just as good, it is just a family preference. these morish gooey chocolate treats are an all year all occasion must bake.

I think its very easy, well most of it sure is anyway! The only bit that i really struggled on was the mixing of the ingredients, mixing it into breadcrumbs with your fingers bit i actually found that it was easier with the dough whisks. plus it deduces your mixing time by about 5-8 minutes. from then it gets pretty easy with the rolling and cuttting and everything...!

Easy yet so delicious, this fresh fruit trifle combines my favourite trifle recipes to create a mouthwatering dessert. Use any fruits you wish - such as mangos or raspberries - to create your own culinary delight.

This is the best recipe for jam and cream sponge cakes ever. Forever a crowd pleaser, people always ask for more. It's easy, it's quick and most of all, it's so yummy! Heads up, the mixture is not ment to be smooth like a normal sponge cake - no need to beat out all the lumps!

Spinach supplies potassium, which helps to lower blood pressure and is a great source of many of the antioxidants that may protect against heart disease, such as vitamins C, E and beta-carotene.

This is such an easy cheesecake to make and always gets the WOW factor - it is now my signature dish. Everybody that likes cheesecake, will love this one. I have to make one for every social occasion that we go to, and it is eaten FAST!!!!

Everyone loves a trifle. In this lavish, super-quick version, moist almond macaroons laced with sherry are topped with tropical fruit, smooth custard and thick cream.

The perfect vegetarian alternative to a christmas dinner (or any time as it's so good). Would make a fab starter too. The squash and the dressing can be made up to 2 days in advance - keep them covered in the fridge. On the day the dressing just needs to be served at room temp and the squash can be heated in the microwave. Really easy dish to do while dealing with a huge roast!

Ever wish you could get rotisserie chicken at home? Well, with minimal preparation and about 5 hours cooking time (great at the weekend!) you can! I don't bother to baste the chicken, though some like to for the first hour. The pan juices always caramelise at the bottom, and the chicken will turn golden brown...fall-off-the-bone good!

A friend has a wee bit of a thing for toblerone and it's been a bit of an on running joke since!! A really tasty cake, Idealy made the day before. Once It's prepared it goes in the fridge and requires no more thinking till your ready to eat it.
