Apple purée and cinnamon add a sweet and moist variation to the classic batter of milk, eggs and sugar. An unusual but delicious idea for kid's brunch or Christmas morning, especially if you substitute brioche for the bread.

This is a recipe that was handed down to me from my great aunt. My husband asks me to make this for all special occasions.

This recipe has been created with the idea of lowering the fat content. These are so delicious - you'll never miss the fat, and chocolate still makes an appearance!

These muffins are extra large and very delicious. I usually double the recipe and fill the muffin tin to the very top to get huge coffee shop sized muffins. Add extra blueberries too, if you want!

The dough for these cinnamon buns is made in a bread machine before it is shaped into buns and baked in the oven. If you don't have a bread machine, follow the notes at the bottom of this recipe.

Banana muffins make a healthy snack for children after school. They are so easy to make and freeze well too. So, make these instead of throwing away those brown bananas!

Be patient - this smells fantastic while it is cooking - wait until it has cooled before serving, though!

These pancakes are thick, like a drop scone, and wonderfully light and fluffy. They can be left plain, but adding fruit, such as sliced banana, makes them infinitely more exciting, and more nutritious too. Here they are served with cinnamon-spiced yoghurt and a drizzle of honey. Serve straight from the pan, to enjoy at their best.

This sweet, crunchy homemade granola combines porridge oats with peanuts, wheatgerm, honey, dark brown sugar and vanilla. Baked in the oven, it's easy to make. You can use whatever kind of nuts you prefer.

Don't be afraid to indulge with this low-fat recipe that still tastes great. It's really handy to make this recipe in a muffin or bun tin. That way, you can freeze them individually.

Perfect for summer, this quick and easy cheesecake is delicious and doesn't require the oven. The crumbly base is a mix of digestive biscuits and shortbread.

Make these the night before as the dough rises in the fridge overnight. Bake the next morning for breakfast or brunch. Easy and delicious. Enjoy!
