This is an adapted family recipe. It is a lot of work, but worth the effort. If you do not have a slow cooker, you can bake the ribs for 2 to 3 hours, covered, in the oven.

This is a recipe that I did a couple of years ago. It takes some time, but it's worth it.

This is an excellent dish for a summer barbecue party. Make the ribs in advance, and when your guests have arrived, finish them off on the barbecue. You'll have them wondering how they got so tender and tasty so fast.

Pork has an undeserved reputation for being fatty. Modern breeding and butchery techniques mean that many cuts are now extremely lean.

You can buy the belly pork in a whole piece and cut it into slices or else ask your butcher to do it for you. Make sure the strips are not too thick - no more than 1cm. An interesting and tasty alternative to pork ribs.

These are easy wings that your guests will love. Try your own variations with other chilli sauces, spices or peppers. Serve with celery sticks and Stilton cheese.

A foolproof, simple recipe for the most succulent and delicious ribs you've ever tasted. Follow the directions exactly, and success is guaranteed! Before barbecuing, the ribs are coated with a dry rub of cumin, chilli powder and paprika to give them lots of flavour and colour. During the last minutes of cooking, baste them with your favourite barbecue sauce.

The sweet chilli sauce in this recipe isn't overpowering but gives a subtle flavour. If a hotter flavour is required, I like to add crushed chilli flakes for a kick.
