We attended a fayre in Wales and the ladies of the local church were baking and selling these traditional cakes. We asked for the recipe and they graciously shared it with us.

Instead of meat, Glamorgan sausages are made with cheese, which, as the Welsh name suggests, should be Caerphilly. Celery has been added for lighter results.

Traditional Welsh pancakes. These make a lovely afternoon treat for children coming home from school! I think you get the best results if you use an electric griddle.
