This is a recipe I adapted from my grandmother's. This warm and comforting soup is easy to make and perfect for a Sunday evening with crusty ciabatta.

A must try, this recipe combines sauteed asparagus, bacon and rocket with linguine; a special bright flavour comes from fresh lemon juice. It's simple and tasty!

This recipe uses less milk and no thickener whatsoever! Very cheesy, too! You can either serve it from the pot, or top with buttered breadcrumbs and put in a 180 / Gas 4 oven to brown for half an hour, but we like ours fine without.

An easy vegetarian pasta dish that's perfect for a quick weeknight supper. A hearty and delicious tomato, spinach and black bean sauce is served over whole wheat pasta. It's also great served with brown rice, and you can substitute tinned borlotti beans for the black beans.

This is a delicious and simple vegetarian pasta dish. Use your favourite blue cheese -- I always use Danish blue as I'm a lover of strong flavours. Use spinach fettucine if you like!

Chicken and broccoli make a delicious pairing in a tomato-garlic sauce. Penne or shells work well, as they soak up the sauce.
