Deliciously moist Irish wheaten bread with hints of banana, strawberry and white chocolate. If you prefer, you can make this into scones rather than a loaf.

Just like the title says - a delicious pavlova topped with banana slices, caramel sauce and whipped cream. The perfect combination of two very yummy desserts making one that will have you making it over and over again.

This is a recipe I shared with my girlfiends from my recipe club last year.

In the galley, one-pot meals are simple and safe - especially when made in a pressure cooker. This is a brilliant solution when you've dropped anchor and are surrounded by friendly boaties just waiting for a newcomer to go visit ... and the aroma from your galley will have them rowing across in no time! Be diligent about shaking the pot, as below, to prevent sticking. Ingredients aren't always easy to come by in out-of-the-way sailing spots, so do this with whatever meat you can!

I haven't made this yet the measurements will probably have to be changed, hopefully I can come back and change this. The chocolate recipe is from another user here.

This is a recipe from County Mayo. It is traditional Halloween fare but good anytime! Kale can be substituted for cabbage.

A true Irish dish which has been enjoyed for many a year by all Dublin people, soon to be enjoyed by your family over and over again! This is the bare bones traditional recipe but feel free to add garlic, a bay leaf or other fresh herbs for flavour. It's also good if you replace the water with cider.

My mum bugged grandpa for this recipe but he told her he didn't have one. So, when he made the bread one day she captured each ingredient in a bowl and measured it and put it in the bowl he planned to mix it in!

A cool well poured pint of Guinness is said to taste of chocolate, so there's no better combination than a Guinness and chocolate cake.

A great way to get Guinness into your bread! Serve warm with butter and honey.

Use milk and butter when mashing the potatoes.

This is pure comfort food. There is nothing nicer than to cuddle up with my girlfriend in front of a warm fire and a movie while munching on thick slices of this bread hot from the oven dripping with melted country butter and warm honey and a big mug of milky tea.

A tasty loaf similar to a scone. Perfect for weekend breakfasts or as an afternoon pick-me-up with tea or coffee.

Quick and simple to make, freshly baked soda bread tastes terrific. In the version here it’s made with half wholemeal flour to give it a delicious coarse texture and nutty flavour. It goes well with butter and jam for breakfast, or with soups and salads for lunch. Or wedges can be split for favourite sandwich fillings.

Chunky pieces of parsnip add sweetness and fresh rosemary adds a distinct flavour and aroma to this traditional stew. If you use a tougher cut of meat, you can leave it to simmer longer before adding the potatoes. This is fantastic on a cold, blustery day or served with a pint or two of the black stuff on St Patrick's Day.

This is a recipe my mother taught me to make. A great, simple, tasty sponge cake that you can whip up in a rush using simple store cupboard ingredients. No fuss. It tastes great with or without icing, and you can serve it with almost anything. the ultimate simple pleasure.

This soda bread uses more plain flour than wholemeal to give it a lighter colour and softer texture. I add sunflower seeds and use a course wholemeal to give it a little bite.
