The easiest way to make this is with a slow cooker. The beef will fall apart easily with a fork, making it easy to shred. You can put the meat into the slow cooker either fresh or even straight from the freezer. Serve in floury baps or tortillas with shredded lettuce or coleslaw.

I made this up one day. It takes a lot of work, but makes a lot of stew, and the leftovers just taste better and better each time you try it.

This fresh chorizo is delicious, easy to make and way better than shop bought. I keep some in the freezer at all times for a quick and easy breakfast with scrambled eggs and cheese. Enjoy!

This is a fairly quick and easy recipe for empanadas. A friend recently gave it to me, and my whole family loved them!!! Just about any kind of fruit, including melon, is fine. Or make the meat filling by using your favourite type of meat. Make one of the fillings or double the pastry and make both!

This recipe is just thrown together but it is really nice. I was a bit sceptical at first because I'm not a mustard lover and even though you can taste it, it's not overpowering it does just blend in with everything else. My kids love em.

Beef and potatoes are the main ingredients folded inside these wonderful deep fried samosas. Chicken livers may be substituted for beef, if you choose. My friend from Bangladesh gave me this savoury, spicy recipe. You just can't buy better in the shops.

Once they have been put together you can either fry them or steam them; both ways are delicious.

My favourite aunt introduced me to this deliciously rich and fragrant dish. In the past few years I've made some changes and this is the recipe my family likes best. It's a great chilli con carne alternative and it freezes well. Try it on a jacket potato!

This traditional recipe is derived from the local farming community of Cardiganshire (Ceredigion). There are regional variations throughout Wales as to what meat is used; some use pork or mutton, but we use shin beef. The quantities used here are based on my own requirements for two to three days, as this soup is one that improves on subsequent re-heating. Serve with lightly buttered bread and a good mature Cheddar cheese.

This warming pasta bake is simple enough to make for a midweek supper, yet feels like slow-cooked comfort food.

Dad has always been the master of this recipe which has been handed down from his parents. He makes it every week for a snack. It's beautiful cold and fills the house with that lovely smell of cloves. Once the meat is cold, the slices are just so tender, its brilliant. You can make it with a white mustard sauce too if you are having it for dinner.

My family love lasagne, but sometimes I lack the time for the long version. This is easy and satisfies everyone. Try it tonight!

My mother makes a GREAT beef brisket. She got the recipe after watching a friend's Jewish grandmother make it. It is perfect, delicious and easily kosher for Passover. Enjoy! Great with mashed potatoes or potato latkes (latkes with this meal are also kosher) or roasted vegetables (with olive oil, salt and pepper - also kosher).
