A rich gooey chilled cake that you can cut up into biscuit portions. Pure heaven for anyone who loves chocolate! Be patient, for best results - you will need to chill overnight or for at least 8 hours.

A brilliant Black Forest cake which is soaked in Kirsch liqueur, with cherry filling.

I adored black forest gateaux in the 70s and loved trifle so decided I would fuse the two. You can make it all from scratch but also easy to substitute ready made goods if you don't have the inclination. The ingredients are split to enable you to decide at each 'layer'.

Somebody elses recipe, I don't think they will mind since they have posted it on another site. I haven't made this myself, not yet anyway.

I haven't made this yet the measurements will probably have to be changed, hopefully I can come back and change this. The chocolate recipe is from another user here.

This is a really moist and chocolatey cake. The kids didn't even realise it had beetroot in the first time I made it. Decorate by dusting with icing sugar or it is delicious served warm with custard. For a healthier option serve with creme fraiche.

After a painful (yummy, but ridiculously unhealthy) amount of experimenting with different recipes I came up with this one. I think it's pretty damn good, myself. Also, it's sooo much better if you can leave these in a fridge overnight, as this makes 'em far more fudgey (ie. far more YUMMY!) They go down great at school =D

A rich chocolate mousse is prepared with high quality chocolate and fresh eggs. Two thirds of the mousse is baked, and the rest is used as topping. Important: be sure to use only fresh eggs for this recipe.

A very moist and more-ish cake. Passion cake doesn't normally have cocoa in it, but this makes a nice change and works well.

Rich chocolate paired with raspberries - this chocolate cake is moist and fudgy. For a special treat, garnish with fresh raspberries!

This classic Italian dessert is made with sponge fingers (also known as ladyfingers or boudoir biscuits) and mascarpone cheese. It can be made in a trifle bowl or a spring form cake tin.

This is a really simple brownie recipe. it has been tried and tested many a time and they certainly dont last very long in the cupboard. I always use chocolate chunks when i bake them however walnuts are just as good, it is just a family preference. these morish gooey chocolate treats are an all year all occasion must bake.

If you are a chocolate lover, you're going to LOVE this!! The best chocolate cake I've ever concocted! The ganache and cream cheese chocolate buttercream icing are absolutely decadent! Serve with fresh raspberries, if desired.

Very rich chocolate mousse over a rich chocolate cake layer and topped with chocolate ganache and chopped nuts. Great for special occasions. This cake takes TIME to make, and TIME to set. It's worth every second of preparation, and is a hit every time!

These peanut butter and white chocolate truffles are decorated to look like eyeballs. Fun to make and kids really get a kick out them. A bit time consuming, but the end-product is worth it.
