These roasties are lovely and crispy, perfect for all roast dinners. The tumeric gives a nice colour, but it isn't important for the taste.

This is a tasty brine for any poultry. It will make your bird very juicy, and gravy to die for!! This is enough brine for a 5 to 8kg turkey.

This recipe makes plenty of addictive buttery pecans to snack on. Good for nibbles at parties. You need to use good quality salted butter.

This is a simpler roast goose than my other recipe on the site, but equally delicious. My family loves either at Christmas.

I modified this recipe from an old cookbook dated 1890. It's a roast ham recipe that is as delicious today as it was back then!

This is the perfect roast turkey recipe. The maple butter adds a touch of sweetness that is just divine, while the apple brandy adds a secret something to the gorgeous gravy. A family favourite! Substitute 2 teaspoons dried marjoram if fresh marjoram is not available.

This is an excellent way of cooking all your vegetables with a joint of meat in one roasting tin. Parsnips as well as courgettes and red onions provide a colourful and delicious mixture.

A perfectly seasoned and juicy turkey. My friend from France taught me to cook turkey like this, but she never measures anything so use your own judgment for vegetable amounts, etc. I usually err on the side of 'more is better'!
