You can use whatever fruit and flavour of yoghurt you want, anything goes - my personal favourite is made with apple and banana with coconut yoghurt.

I make homemade yoghurt, and also have tried making home-tinned peaches in syrup (the recipe is on the site). I put half of a very ripe peach into yoghurt with some syrup from my homemade peaches. There is no need to add sugar - it is delightfully sweet.
