Do not ignore this recipe just because it is simple, it is a great breakfast/snack for any tomato lover. Make sure you use Napolina Tomatoes, I have tried this with other brands and they just do not come close.

This sweet green tomato chutney is a great way to use up unripened tomatoes.

An excellent hearty and warming family meal. Can be mildly mouthwatering or hot as you dare. It can also be varied ever so slightly by trying different flavoured corn chips/tortilla chips. Try zingy lime or fragrant chilli varieties to suit your own tastes. I have seen chilli lasagna recipes before but always using pasta sheets which doesn't feel very Mexican to me. Serve with a crisp cooling salad dressed with mint, cucumber, yoghurt or soured cream.

Slices of chorizo sausage are stacked in a pile with tomatoes, fresh basil and mozzarella. This makes a very nice starter.

This is the first recipe I've made by myself, usually I use a recipe but didn't have access to the internet. I cooked this with chunks of chicken but plan on cooking it to have with scallops so this recipe is just for the salsa. It would also go great with some pasta though. If anyone has any advice or tips for me then they would be greatly appreciated as I am a beginner cook. Thanks and enjoy :)

This delicious, tangy chutney of green tomatoes, onions, peppers and spices is perfect with sandwiches, potatoes, cheese and lots of other things. A jar of this makes a great food gift, too!

Savoury choux buns look spectacular, yet are easy to make. Here they are filled with a creamy mixture of avocado, tomato, cucumber and cannellini beans flavoured with lime juice, fresh coriander and a touch of garlic. They make an appealing and well-balanced lunch dish, delightful with a glass of fruity white wine.

Gurnard have firm tasty flesh and are great value. Grey and yellow gurnard are good, but look out for red ones for the best flavour.

The contrast of sweet citrus, slightly bitter greens, spicy chilli, earthy grains and tender duck is marvellous, with sweet basil adding an unexpected note. Kumquats are a curious citrus fruit in that they are eaten skin and all; poaching takes away their bitterness so they yield up a sweet citrus flavour.

After many attempts to create the best meatballs, I think I've got them as good as I can get them. Great on a budget and just as a warning, you will not be able to stop eating them. I serve with wholewheat or egg spaghetti, as the normal and quick cook ones don't taste of much to me and, of course, garlic bread.

Pasta is a convenient and delicious alternative to potato in flat omelettes, especially if you have some left over from a previous meal. This version, flavoured with ham and packed with vegetables, is complemented by a courgette and tomato salad. It makes a simple but satisfying lunch served with chunks of bread.

This is just a brilliant easy toimato sauce which can be adapted a zillion ways to serve with pasta. I grow my own tomatoes and usually make this with a mix of differents types. I had a glut this year and have loads of this in the freezer to remind me of summer.

This is not your normal prawn cocktail! This recipe calls for lots of fresh coriander, cucumber, spring onions and chilli which gives the classic a Mexican flavour boost. It's a great colourful starter for a summer dinner party.

Spicy and sweet - ginger, garlic, chilli powder and Madras curry paste are just a few of the ingredients in this tomato chutney. Best made with tomatoes fresh from the garden.

This salad is great for summer. Add lemon juice if you want a little zing, though I prefer it without.
