It's not an exact match for KFC but its fairly close and tastes great. You can also use the mixed spices on pork, etc. I am still working on perfecting it, messing around with different spices and the amounts but its a good place to start
Try this spicy chicken - a Cajun favourite. It's pan fried but finished off in the oven.
Crispy, mouth-watering and juicy, are the words I would use to describe this chicken. The recipe is simple and easy. It's delicious hot or cold. Serve with a side salad or with mashed potatoes.
This is my mother's special, yet simple, recipe. Chicken marinated in garlic, oyster sauce and curry powder, then pan fried.
A very simple recipe that is similar to many others out there, but I thought i would post it anyway as it goes down so well. I do not like to have large quantities of oil around so i have used a smaller amount of oil to crisp up the batter, and then i finish in the oven. Serves 2-3. The fried chicken mix i use is bought from Asda and can be seen at this link... http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/asda-compare-prices/Herbs_And_Spices/KTC_Original_Chicken_Fry_Mix_300g.html Picture is not my own but it does show how the chicken should look and how much oil to use!
