Shortbread Base Banoffee Pie

I prefer to make a shortbread base rather than use digestive biscuits - it tastes a little richer. But the choice is yours. Either way, this is a great dessert for a crowd.

This banana and toffee tart is well worth the wait and requires little actual prep time. I like to use hob nobs but digestives or shortbread work well too.

A recipe I made by myself. Delicious, but you'll need a day to stay at home to make this ice cream - no machine needed except a freezer.
Classic banoffee pie
This is a classic banoffee pie, sure to satisfy any sweet tooth! Since the most time consuming thing is making the toffee, I like to boil a few tins of milk at a time and reserve some for the next time I make banoffee -- doing this makes the second, third and fourth pies actually quite simple to make!
Simple Banoffee Pie
I tried 3 different Banoffee Pie recipes I found online and a recipe book. So I've made my own version of the banoffee pie using the basis of the recipes I have found and added a bit of twist! My partner and friends love this and I hope you will too.

This recipe finds its harmony in the way the bold, bursting flavour of curry interacts with the soft sweetness of bananas and smooth yoghurt. Chocolatey Banana Surprise
Not much to prepare with this one, you simply need a few bananas - one for each person you are serving, and a large bag of milk chocolate buttons. You could also perhaps try white chocolate buttons for an original twist!
Choc Hazel Banana Loaf

Got some older bananas that need using up but want a change from the usual? This really really yummy recipe is one I modified from a plain banana cake and it is now so popular it gets requested all the time. Best of all it can be done with ease in a food processor, so it's also really fast to make for a picnic or sudden guests! Also kids love it, it's got chocolate in it! Doesn't need icing or buttering, is plenty good on its own.
