From chocolate shortbread to melt-in-the-mouth florentines, we've plenty of chocolate biscuit recipes that won't last long in the biscuit tin!
These extra chocolaty biscuits will cast a chocolate spell on you. Once you have eaten them, you will want nothing else. If you can't find Dutch process cocoa at your shop, just add a pinch of bicarb to the dry ingredients. They are great with icing too!

This chocolate chip shortbread biscuit is incredible. It's so rich and tasty. I cannot tell how many times I get asked for this recipe. Everyone loves it and it's easy to make. These keep very well. You can make dough ahead time and freeze it. Defrost when ready to use and follow baking instructions.

For all the gorgeous chocolate cakes around (and there are many), I still have a soft spot for these crunchy, chewy little buns. I include them partly because when looking for a recipe for them recently I found it suprisingly difficult to find one. Oh come on, don't tell me you don't like them! so get COOKING!!!

Best chocolate biscuits ever - crumbly and crunchy, and only 4 ingredients but you can add extra flavouring such as orange zest or peppermint extract if you wish. The granulated sugar really makes them deliciously crumbly.

My special ingredient for these very chocolaty star-shaped Christmas biscuits is grated cooking chocolate. If you are a huge chocolate fan, you can also dip them in melted chocolate after baking.
