This OK sauce tastes better than you can get from the takeaway. Give it a go and see what you think.

The easiest sauce ever; ready in minutes, great with chicken or just to pour over chips. The ingredients are all things you are likely to have to hand.

This recipe is quite an old one. It was obtained from some Malaysian friends in the late 70's, still tastes great though and is easy to make with ingredients found in most cupboards and fridges.

This is the oil that most if not all Chinese takeaways use in their cooking. It may differ slightly from chef to chef, but the basic recipe is the same. Whatever Chinese recipe you are making use this oil instead of just plain oil and taste the difference.

I adore this hot sauce as it's good with rice, noodles, salsa, meat - anything you want to heat up with a tang.

This delicious chicken marinade is perfect for large groups of people or small dinners, depending on how much chicken you use. To stretch the marinade just add 1/3 more of everything. I like to leave the skin on the chicken pieces but you can remove it first if you like. Best served on a bed of basmati rice. Putting the lemon in the microwave for 30 seconds first allows you to get more juice out of it.
