Chocolate pancake sandwich
These are delicious! You just make the pancakes, layer with chocolate pieces and then sandwich them together. The chocolate melts and creates a delicious sauce. You can use a biscuit cutter to create shapes suitable for any occasion - I made them for Valentine's day with a heart biscuit cutter.

Fruity buttermilk pancakes
Recipe by:
Norma MacMillan
These pancakes are thick, like a drop scone, and wonderfully light and fluffy. They can be left plain, but adding fruit, such as sliced banana, makes them infinitely more exciting, and more nutritious too. Here they are served with cinnamon-spiced yoghurt and a drizzle of honey. Serve straight from the pan, to enjoy at their best.
Apple and Hazelnut Pancakes

Rachel Warren Chadd
These thicker-than-usual pancakes make an almost instant sweet start to the day. The batter is made by simply stirring together a few basic ingredients, with hazelnuts and apples added for extra goodness. Top the pancakes with maple syrup.

Aunt Clara's Buttermilk Pancakes
Recipe by:
LDeane
This pancake recipe was handed down to me by my Great Aunt Clara of Denver, Colorado. The only instruction apart from the ingredients list was, "keeps well in a sealed jar". The main thing to remember when making these pancakes is: don't overmix!! You should always have lumps in the batter.

American Buttermilk Pancakes

This recipe for the buttermilk pancakes comes from America. American pancakes are much thicker than ours and are traditionally served with maple syrup. You can opt for maple syrup, honey, golden syrup or a lovely fruit compote.
Bouncy buttermilk pancakes
These delicious, fluffy buttermilk pancakes are perfect with crispy bacon and maple syrup for breakfast.
No added sugar wholemeal blueberry pancakes
These healthy blueberry pancakes are the perfect Sunday breakfast. Wholemeal flour is better for you than white flour and leaves you feeling fuller for longer, whilst the sweetness of the blueberries means no added sugar - great for children! Omit or switch the blueberries if you wish. Can be topped with a plethora of extras to suit everyone's taste! Add any extra toppings - I eat mine with a chopped banana and maple syrup (natural sugars!).
