This lovely tart is perfect for company; it's rich, impressive and quick! Although it only takes a few minutes to assemble, leave at least 8 hours before serving for the tart to chill. It can be made in either a 20 or 23cm pie dish or tart tin.
This is a heavenly twist on a classic fresh fruit tart recipe. It is super easy to make, but looks infinitely impressive. A pastry base is covered in a creamy white chocolate filling, which is then topped with fresh seasonal fruit. You can vary the type of fruits used to match what's in season, or you can even use tinned fruit.
This recipe is a deliciously rich bittersweet chocolate pudding. It began life as a recipe from the great French pastry chef, Pierre Herme, which I copied out incorrectly, but the end result turned out delicious. I have also used a simpler sweet pastry recipe.
I love this tart. Light yet completely decadent! Great flavour with the raspberries and mascarpone cheese. I've also done this with blueberries, and again it is completely yummy!
This chocolate tart is so great is because it requires minimal washing up, all the ingredients can be bought at the corner shop, it requires about 15 minutes of preparation and needs little to no time in the fridge (unlike most cheesecakes) before you serve it.
