A very simple microwave sponge pudding in less than 15 minutes with a texture between a sponge and a steamed pudding. Flavour it by adding raspberry jam, treacle or golden syrup to the bottom of the final bowl. Serve hot with custard.
This is the best vanilla sponge mix I have ever made or tasted and is so easy to make. The key to it is how long you whisk it for and the baking time. You can use the recipe to make 1 whole sponge cake. Just lengthen the cooking time to around 25 to 30 minutes (although the trick is to judge by sight and bounce!)
A basic chocolate concrete (or crunch as you may know it). Very easy to make with only 4 ingredients. Makes a nice dessert in winter that kids absolutely love. It's my siblings' favourite. I use a 23cm sandwich tin, you can use almost anything really. Plus it is a really cheap dessert.
