Carrie's Oriental Chicken
This delicious chicken marinade is perfect for large groups of people or small dinners, depending on how much chicken you use. To stretch the marinade just add 1/3 more of everything. I like to leave the skin on the chicken pieces but you can remove it first if you like. Best served on a bed of basmati rice. Putting the lemon in the microwave for 30 seconds first allows you to get more juice out of it.
Balinese Chicken Wings
Recipe by:
CHEYENNIGANS
On a recent trip to Bali, my Balinese stepmother, Putu, let me help her prepare chicken - and I furiously committed her 'non-recipe' to memory to bring home. She has a big mortar and pestle for this kind of thing; I don't, so I end up using both sides of my meat mallet; you just want to get the ingredients well combined and at least somewhat reduced in mass. And since they're baked, not deep-fried, they're a (relatively) healthy pile of wings! I particularly like them with roasted sweet potatoes.
Chinese Clay Pot Chicken and Rice Without the Clay Pot

Suh McCaw
I have modified this Chinese recipe that my mother handed down to me. The traditional way of cooking this dish is by using a clay pot. However, a frying pan, together with a saucepan will do just as well. It's simple and delicious to eat.

These chicken wings are glazed with orange marmalade, giving them a wonderful citrus flavour. They do really well as party food. For a crispier texture, coat in seasoned flour before pan frying.
KFC Chicken
It's not an exact match for KFC but its fairly close and tastes great. You can also use the mixed spices on pork, etc. I am still working on perfecting it, messing around with different spices and the amounts but its a good place to start
