This quiche is without pastry - it couldn't be simpler.
Perfect for breakfast, brunch, lunch or a light supper, this quiche recipe is quite forgiving - adjust to your liking by adding different vegetables, chopped bacon or even cubed halloumi.
This is my recipe for a basic mushroom quiche with home made short crust pastry. It takes about an hour (ish) to bake from scratch including making the pastry. The pastry will be enough for a large flan dish or two of those disposable foil ones (as per the picture). Obviously you can substitute the mushrooms and onions for the filling of your choice and skip the pastry making steps if you are using a ready made case.
This recipe is quick and easy way to make spinach, mushroom and broccoli quiche. I added bit of garlic which is optional. You can make this easy by buying shortcrust pastry or making the quiche crustless - both are so tasteful. If you don't want to use crème fraiche, use 150ml of skimmed milk or just use 150ml of crème fraiche instead of both! You can add or change the ingredients if you don't like what I've added :)
This delicious symphony of asparagus, Portabellini mushrooms, bacon and onion will leave your taste buds hungry for more. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner.
If you use a ready made dough, this quiche will be ready in no time. I often make quiches because I like to have one in the fridge. It's perfect for snacking during the day. This quiche can be served hot or cold.
A delicious recipe quiche combining spinach, mushrooms, onions and bacon with Gruyere and Cheddar cheeses. Yum!
I like this quiche for its earthy flavour and down home goodness that makes it good for breakfast or brunch on the weekend. The carrots, onions and mushrooms make a good combination to satisfy that need for something healthy and filling without all the extra additives that some processed foods have in them.
Delicious and lighter on the calories - rich quiche made with buttermilk, eggs, diced ham, mushrooms, mature Cheddar, onions and herbs.
A simple and tasty classic quiche recipe with the creamy addition of Gouda. Enjoy with a salad and a baked potato.
