Just tried this today and thought I'd share. I served it with plain rice and veg, but I'm sure it'd be nice with new potatoes and fresh vegetables as well! I have a large family with lots of little children who only eat small portions (this fed 2 adults, 5 children and 1 baby). However, it'd be more suitable I think for 2-4 adults or similar. It was very subtle in taste.

A whole chicken sprinkled with fresh lemon and paprika is cooked slowly with lemon halves inside. This recipe is very easy and the chicken always stays tender and moist.

These chickens are rubbed with spices, then slow roasted in the oven for 5 hours. A great recipe for a rainy weekend!

Ever wish you could get rotisserie chicken at home? Well, with minimal preparation and about 5 hours cooking time (great at the weekend!) you can! I don't bother to baste the chicken, though some like to for the first hour. The pan juices always caramelise at the bottom, and the chicken will turn golden brown...fall-off-the-bone good!

A wondefully tender and moist chicken. A whole chicken is stuffed with celery and onion, then rubbed with a spice mixture and cooked in a low oven for 4 hours. It's a great roast for Sunday lunch or Christmas dinner.
