I enjoy making these florentines to give as food gifts for Christmas. They are very versatile so you can change the type of nut and/or dried fruits depending on who you ae making them for! This version includes brandy but it can be easily left out. Dip them in milk, dark or white chocolate.

These are one of my favourites. I make them every Christmas. They are great for posting to family and friends, and keep for weeks! Use vanilla extract instead of almond extract if you prefer.
Irresistible oatmeal cookies, studded with dried cherries, chocolate chips and chopped toffee bars. Make them soft by leaving them on the baking tray for a minute or two. If you like a crisp and crunchy cookie - immediately remove them from the baking tray once they are done baking.
