Ingredients you will need
  • 75g (3 oz) Flora Cuisine
  • 55g (2 oz) caster sugar
  • 100g (3 ½ oz) acacia honey
  • 1 egg, medium
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 tsp coffee essence
  • 100g (3 ½ oz) raisins, chopped
  • 150g (5 oz) self-raising flour, sieved
  • 25g (1 oz) cocoa powder, sieved
  • 25g (1 oz) chopped plain chocolate
  • 50g flaked almonds
  • ½ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda and a pinch salt

Place all the ingredients except the flaked almonds in a mixing bowl and beat together with a wooden spoon until well mixed.

Grease 2 baking sheets with Flora Cuisine and place teaspoons of the mixture onto the baking sheets. Evenly sprinkle over the flaked almonds.

Bake on the middle shelf of a preheated hot oven 190° C, 170°C fan, Gas 5 for 8 - 10 minutes. Cool on a wire tray.
