How to cook fish with lemon and butter video

A simple, yet delicious fish supper, which is quick and easy to make. You can use the basic principles to cook any fish fillets, such as salmon, cod or sea bass.

Skin-on haddock fillets are dredged in seasoned flour, pan-fried and then simmered in a lemon and parsley butter sauce. The succulent fish goes perfectly with the wonderful sauce. Serve with mashed potatoes, rice or pasta.

Season skin-on haddock fillets on both sides with salt and pepper, then dredge in seasoned plain flour and shake off any excess.
Heat 1 tablespoon or a knob butter in a non-stick frying pan until melted over medium-high heat. Place fish, skin-side down into the hot pan and cook for 5 minutes. Gently flip over fish and cook for 1 additional minute.
Add 1 tablespoon or knob butter to the pan. Shake the pan to melt the butter. Add juice of 1 lemon, 1-2 tablespoons chopped parsley and shake or stir sauce. Serve.
