Don't bin those seeds! Your Halloween pumpkin should be used to its fullest, and that includes all of its tasty seeds. Roasted pumpkin seeds are a super healthy snack, and easy to make, too. We'll show you the trick to roasting pumpkin seeds in three easy steps.

Step 1: Remove and clean seeds

After you remove the seeds from inside the pumpkin, rinse them off under cold water. Remove any pulp and strings. Then lay out the clean seeds on a clean cloth or piece of kitchen paper and pat them dry.
Step 2: Oil and season seeds
Place the dry pumpkin seeds in a single layer on an oiled baking tray. Stir them up a bit to help coat them in oil.

Now you can season your seeds. Like them salty? Then sprinkle on a little salt. Want to spice them up? Add a little cumin or chilli powder. Have a sweet tooth? Try cinnamon and sugar.
Step 3: Bake the seeds

Place the tray with the seeds in the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes.

After 10 minutes, stir the seeds so they cook evenly. Then bake for another 15 minutes, or until the seeds turn golden brown.

Remove the tray from the oven, and slide the toasted seeds into a bowl so they don't over-brown or burn from the heat of the tray.

Let them cool off before you snack on them.
