- 225ml (8 fl oz) lukewarm water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary, stem removed and chopped
- 400g (14 oz) bread flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dried active baking yeast
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 sprigs fresh rosemary, stem removed and chopped
Directions

- Place water, 2 tablespoons olive oil, salt, garlic, rosemary, flour and yeast in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select Dough cycle; press Start.
- Remove dough from bread machine when cycle is complete. Pat dough into either a 23x33cm (9x13 in) baking pan or 30cm pizza pan. Use your fingers to dimple the dough every inch or so. Brush with remaining olive oil and sprinkle with remaining rosemary.
- Preheat oven to 200 C / Gas mark 6. Cover foccacia with cling film while oven preheats.
- Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden brown. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.

V. easy to make and v. tasty. I made two smaller breads, one just with herbs and another with feta, both were really good. Also I left them to rise for almost two hours before baking. Will do them again and again. Many thanks. - 01 Oct 2012
