About this recipe:This soup contains no less than three different types of meat and more vegetables than you can count. It's a substantial soup, which needs to be slow cooked over 5 hours. The result is a delicious hearty soup.
1 (900g to 1.35kg) whole chicken, skin removed, deboned and diced
900g boneless pork loin, cubed
1.35kg diced beef stewing steak
4 tablespoons vegetable oil
450g chopped onions
1 green pepper, diced
1 bunch celery, diced
1 large swede, diced
1.35kg carrots, diced
900g cabbage, diced
900g fresh green beans, chopped
2.25kg potatoes, peeled and cubed
450g frozen peas
2 1/2 (340g) tins sweetcorn
2 (400g) tins chopped tomatoes
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste

In a large stock pot over medium heat, cook chicken, pork and beef in oil, until brown. Drain well.
Stir in onion, pepper, celery, swede, carrots, cabbage, green beans, potatoes, sweetcorn, tomatoes, salt and pepper and simmer over medium-low heat all day long, adding water as needed, until thickened.
