    About this recipe: A simple, yet delectable salmon dish made with just four ingredients. Salmon steaks are cooked in a mixture of butter, brown sugar and bourbon whisky. Serve with rice and steamed vegetables.

    Serves: 4 

    • 60g butter
    • 110g dark brown soft sugar
    • 4 (175g) salmon steaks
    • 75ml bourbon whisky

    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:20min 

    1. Melt butter in a large heavy frying pan over medium heat. Stir in dark brown soft sugar. Place salmon fillets on top of dark brown soft sugar mixture. Cook for 5 minutes on medium heat. Turn salmon and pour bourbon around the fillets. Continue cooking for 5 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Spoon glaze over the salmon and serve.
