    About this recipe: Serve this sauce with barbecued or grilled meats, kebabs, pita pocket sandwiches or as a salad dressing. It's basically a blend of fresh garlic, lemon juice and oil.

    Serves: 32 

    • 1 head garlic, peeled and minced
    • 1 tablespoon sea salt
    • 120ml fresh lemon juice
    • 235ml vegetable oil
    • 235ml olive oil (not extra virgin)

    1. Place the garlic, salt, lemon juice, vegetable oil and olive oil in a glass measuring jug. Use a hand-held blender to mix the ingredients until the sauce has thickened, 1 to 2 minutes. Angle the mixer to pull ingredients from the sides of the jar and lift it toward the top to better combine. Continue blending until the mixture reaches a texture similar to mayonnaise.
