Chicken kebab marinade

About this recipe:
A lovely sweet yet spicy marinade. Made these at the weekend and went down a treat with my fella and his mates.
4 tablespoons honey
4 teaspoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons mild chilli powder
2 teaspoons garlic salt
1 pinch dried mixed herbs
salt and pepper to taste
4 large chicken breast fillets, cubed
1 red or green pepper, chopped

30 min marinating › Ready in:
1 hr 5 min
Soak skewers in cold water if you are using wooden ones. Mix all ingredients (except chicken and peppers) together in a bowl, preferably one with a sealed lid.
Add chicken, close lid and shake well for a good coat. Leave in fridge to marinate for 30 minutes or until ready to skewer.
Take chicken out of fridge and start to skewer with the peppers. Alternate 1 piece of chicken followed by 1 piece of pepper.
Place chicken on the BBQ until chicken is no longer pink at the centre then serve. Make ahead
The chicken can be marinated over night for and even better taste.

I've tried this recipe a couple times with turkey, and everybody loved it!
I didn't have garlic salt, so substituted it for half garlic granules and half salt, and accidentally added 4 tablespoons of soy instead of teaspoons, but it worked a treat!

Just realised I added 4tablespoons of soy instead of teaspoons 😁hope it's ok
